N Scale Kato cat #176-1103 EMD F3A #1402 UP DCC Sound Chip Fitted

I have reluctantly decided to divest myself of my N scale USA collection due to a reduction in the space available for modelling and creeping old age. A number of structures will also appear, almost all being unopened or unbuilt kits. Many are quite rare but some are as common as mice! The other three are DCC fitted ones and this one (F3A #1402) is a DCC Sound fitted one (see the other auctions). All four are the current standard Kato type of DCC ready chassis.

It is both powerful and silent and has only been test run. This set makes up a prototypical UP set - the two B units have different running number suffixes and I believe that one or other of these was only a short run by Kato - and, just to be confusing, they both have the same catalogue number!
