This one is DCC equipped and has sound. The horn and bells sound great and it is quite responsive. I programmed the addresses to its road number, 5946. I believe it has McHenry couplers- they will work with Kato couplers, but I had to line them up perfectly. They seem to couple readily to anything with Micro Trains couplers.
