A new range for us is this entry level DCC sound N gauge Dapol Class 43 HST bookset fitted with dual Hornby TTS DCC sound decoders and 15 by 11 sugar cube speakers. A copy of the functions available is shown in one of the photos. Excellent sound quality and smooth running is provided by the Hornby decoder. Other features include short and long addressing, the capability to run on DC analogue (note that this is without sound), directional lighting front and rear and the ability to adjust the volume of individual sounds to suit personal taste. The bookset consists of a brand new N gauge Dapol Class 43 HST bookset in GNER Blue complete with two Mk3 coaches. The bookset consists of Power Car 43106, Restaurant Car 40805, TGS 44045 and DVT 43109. This variant supplements our existing range of high end DCC sound converted locomotives which use ESU sound decoders with Legoman sound files along with numerous lighting options fitted as standard. The HST bookset can be upgraded with the addition of Dapol light bars or fully independent DCC controlled lighting for the coaches.
